My story
Meet Lucy a gorgeous 6.5 yr old gal, currently being fostered in South Eastern PA. Lucy is just as sweet as they come! She warms up quickly and loves to give kisses, once she gets to know you. She is full of fun and loves to be outside stalking birds and critters. So a physically fenced with be required in her forever home. Lucy loves her walks, she only needs to see you get her harness and she sits by the door eagerly waiting to have it put on. Lucy originally came to us as an owner surrender because she would bark at anyone entering the house and the former family was unable to help her overcome her anxiety in this area, as well as they were expecting  twins and were concerned that she would not do well with the new additions.   Lucy is currently in foster care with our NBRAN behaviorist who has been working with her for the past couple months on her issues and has made tremendous strides. Lucy has since encountered many new people with no issues and has been out to many public places successfully. She is fine with other dogs around unless they get up in her face then she gets upset. She would be fine as an only dog or with a submissive male but not a female dog. Ideally, Lucy would be a perfect match for someone that has no other pets this includes cats, no small children and has the time, patience and love to give her. Lucy is house/crate trained, current on all vetting including being spayed, heartworm negative and micro chipped. So, if you are interested in adopting Lucy please consider filling out an application online at:  /adoptappl.asp.  After filing out an application, the coordinator for the State in which you live will be in touch to follow up. Not sure who your State coordinators is? Find their information here; /contacts.asp.  Lucys adoption fee is 350.00 which will help NBRAN cover the vetting costs and other expenses associated with bringing Brit like Lucy back to good health and readying them for adoption. Don't live in PA or close by, No Problem!  NBRAN also has a wonderful transport team who will help bring Lucy to his new family, up to 1400 miles with the adoptive family being responsible for the last 100 miles, at no additional fee. Contact Chris Eddinger at or Lisa Giddings at for more information.
